We carry all four neurotoxins approved by Health Canada, providing a variety of options to meet your aesthetic and medical needs. Each product is rigorously tested for safety and effectiveness, allowing us to customize treatments for optimal results.
The cost of treatment varies depending on the number of areas treated and the units required. Factors influencing the number of units include individual anatomy, and muscle strength. Correct dosing is crucial for achieving optimal and long lasting results.
Typically, treating the forehead and between the eyebrows costs between $300 and $450. Visit our price list here
Botox® is a diluted, injectable botulinum toxin, specifically onabotulinumtoxinA, that works by blocking nerve impulses responsible for muscle contractions.
When injected, Botox® only affects the specific areas it is targeted, leaving the nerves responsible for sensation unaffected.
The effectiveness of Botox® requires precise and tailored dosages depending on the specific condition being treated.
Burlington Botox® treatments typically are not painful. In most cases, patients experience minimal discomfort, and a cold compress may be applied if needed, though it is not usually necessary.
At our Burlington med spa, wrinkle relaxers can address a variety of aesthetic and medical conditions, such as:
Botox®, Xeomin®, Dysport® and Nuceiva™ are all injectable cosmetic treatments that use different forms of botulinum toxin type A to temporarily relax facial muscles and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
Botox (onabotulinumtoxinA): Botox is one of the most well-known brands of botulinum toxin type A. It was the first to receive approval for cosmetic use and has been widely used for various aesthetic and medical conditions. Botox contains accessory proteins, and the dosing is measured in "units."
Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA): Dysport is another brand of botulinum toxin type A. It has a slightly different formulation and contains fewer accessory proteins compared to Botox. The dosing of Dysport is measured in "units" as well, but the units used for Dysport may differ from those used for Botox.
Nuceiva (prabotulinumtoxinA): Nuceiva is a newer brand of botulinum toxin type A that was approved for cosmetic use in Canada. Like Dysport, Nuceiva contains fewer accessory proteins than Botox. It also uses a different unit measurement for dosing, which may vary from Botox and Dysport.
Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA): Xeomin is another form of botulinum toxin type A that does not contain any accessory proteins. It is often referred to as a "naked injectable" due to its purity. The dosing for Xeomin is measured in "units" as well, but it may have different dosing requirements compared to Botox and Dysport.
In terms of effectiveness and safety, all four products have been Health Canada and FDA approved for cosmetic use and have shown positive results in reducing wrinkles and fine lines. The choice betweenBotox®, Xeomin®, Dysport® and Nuceiva™ may depend on individual preferences, treatment goals, and how the patient responds to each product.
Burlington Botox® has gained popularity as an effective method for reducing wrinkles, initially targeting the forehead. Today, it is used to address crow’s feet, lines around the eyes and nose, neck bands, and other general wrinkles. Botox® is often combined with other filler.
Being a non- invasive and cost effective solution compared to surgical anti-aging options, Botox® does not require anesthesia or painkillers during the treatment. The injections are generally quick and not uncomfortable for the majority of individuals.
Despite the apparent simplicity of Botox® treatments, it is crucial to remember that it is a medical procedure and should only be performed by a qualified medical professional.
The best answer is to be combination treatments and conscistency. Use medical grade skin care every day such as Zo Skin Health, get a monthly facial with deep exfoliation, get BOTOX every three months, a biostimulator like Radiesse once a year, and add in laser treatments such as CO2 Laser or RF Microneedling.
Taking care of yourself and being proactive with anti-aging begins with a personalized plan. Deciding what’s best for you and when to consider surgical versus non-surgical options can be overwhelming. Book a complimentary consultation with our professionals to find the right starting point—it's never too late to begin.

Latisse® offers an easy to use, at home nightly treatment for longer lashes. Applying it is as simple as putting on eyeliner, with the liquid going on at the base of the eyelid. Within 2 to 4 months, you can expect noticeable improvements in the length, thickness, and darkness of your natural eyelashes, eliminating the need for daily falsies.
When used correctly, Latisse® is highly effective in promoting eyelash growth and volume. A clinical study showed that 78% of participants experienced improvements in eyelash length and volume, with lashes becoming 25% longer, 106% thicker, and 18% darker.
The cost of using Latisse® decreases over time, as you'll need less of it to maintain the results. If you decide to stop using Latisse®, your eyelashes will gradually return to their initial state within a few weeks to a few months.
Everything you need to apply Latisse® is included in the package, including the solution and applicators for precise dosage to your eyelids. No additional materials or tools are required for use.
Latisse® is FDA and Health Canada approved for cosmetic use, containing the main ingredient bimatoprost, which has been used medically since 2001 as Lumigan®. It has been available for cosmetic purposes since 2010 in Canada. Manufactured by Allergan, the reputable company behind Botox®. We are proud to offer this effective treatment at our medi spa in Burlington
Latisse® is a solution that promotes thicker, longer eyelashes, but it requires consistent use. If you stop using it, your lashes will return to their original state.
Initial results may appear after 4-6 weeks of nightly application, but full growth is achieved at around 16 weeks (4 months). Some may experience full growth at 2 months, but it's essential to continue daily use until the 16-week mark.
After the initial period, the frequency of applications may vary for each person. Working with our skin clinic's doctor can help determine the best approach for you.
Adding more solution won't accelerate hair growth. Latisse® should be used in the recommended amount consistently, even if a treatment is missed. Avoid applying double the amount in the next application.

Bimatoprost, the active ingredient in Latisse®, has been used since 2001 to treat glaucoma and eye pressure under the brand name Lumigan®. It was later discovered that it can also treat hypotrichosis, which causes short, thin lashes.
The main difference between Lumigan® and Latisse® lies in the concentration and application of bimatoprost. They are not interchangeable prescriptions.
Latisse® contains 0.03% bimatoprost and is applied like eyeliner to the base of the upper eyelid, while Lumigan® is used as an eye drop.
Though scientists understand that bimatoprost prolongs the growth phase of the hair cycle, the exact mechanism remains unclear. The treatment results in thicker, longer eyelashes, but consistent use is necessary for lasting effects.
Safe and effective application is crucial, and proper instructions and precautions will be provided with the prescription. A thorough medical history disclosure is essential before starting Latisse®. A consultation at our clinic ensures you are a suitable candidate and clarifies how to use the product effectively. Remember, Latisse® is a drug and is not available over the counter for good reason, but it is generally safe for most people.
Latisse® is generally safe with minimal side effects, affecting less than 1-4% of users. Uncommon side effects like blurry vision, eyelid irritation, or discolored eyelids are usually temporary. If you experience anything unusual, contact us immediately for guidance, even if unsure if it's related to Latisse®.
In rare cases, eyes may grow lashes of varying size, pigment, direction, or thickness. If this occurs, stopping Latisse® will revert your lashes to their original state.
As you will apply Latisse® at home, safety largely depends on proper application. Following instructions diligently is crucial to avoid eye infections or side effects. Avoid direct contact with the inner eye, use provided applicators, and blot away any drips during application.
Excess solution in your eye can darken the iris, especially in light-colored eyes. Never dispense directly into the eye or use fingers for application. Latisse® should not be used on lower eyelid lashes to prevent unintended hair growth.
Using more Latisse® won't speed up eyelash growth, and precise dosing is designed to target lashes without affecting other eye areas.
If you have dry eyes or wear contacts, eye drops may be necessary while using Latisse®. Wait 15 minutes after application before wearing contacts.
Never share your Latisse® prescription, as eligibility varies among individuals. Pregnant women, those allergic to Latisse® ingredients, or with certain eye and skin conditions should avoid using it.
